As I was rummaging through my closet, one fine morning and late for work, I made a mental note to not procrastinate it further and make my closet today. So after coming back from work, I got ready for the date with my closet.
I took out all the clothes and scattered them on the floor, so as to make piles of clothes and then set them in the cupboard. It has been a long time since I properly cleaned my closet. I usually just set my clothes which I use daily. As I was going through my clothes, I found many old clothes from my college days, start of my career, my friends’ clothes etc. Old clothes brought up old memories, good memories. Snapping and chatting with my friends about these clothes and the memories they brought up, I made my way through the clothes. Realizing that this way it will take me days to complete the task, I kept my phone aside.
As I was sorting out the clothes, I came across my favorite bra from the first year of my college. It was a black Triumph bra and had this crisscross type pattern. I could not remember why I had abandoned it in the first place. Tempted, I thought to give it a try again after all these years. Favorites always have a special place in your heart.
Although I managed to fix my boobies in the bra and somehow hook it up, I felt very uncomfortable. It felt suffocating like someone was pressing my chest and I definitely can not go out like this. Staying in that bra for more than 10 minutes comfortably was like an accomplishment.
Changing into my current bra, I suddenly felt so relaxed and comfortable. It was so liberating. I am sure all of us have at some point of time tried to fit in something not our size. That is when I realized how important it is to check the bra size regularly and wear the perfect fit.
We just pay attention to the size of our outer coverings and not our lingerie which is equally, if not more, important.
